Dubai, UAE — March 2026 — Financial markets in the UAE are set to recommence operations this week, as regulators confirm the resumption of trading and settlement activities following a period of continued oversight.

The UAE Capital Market Authority has announced that trading and settlement on both the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and the Dubai Financial Market will resume on Wednesday, March 4.

The decision comes as a result of sustained coordination between the Authority and the exchanges, aligning with the timeframe previously communicated to market participants, according to the Emirates News Agency.

In its statement, the CMA reaffirmed its commitment to its supervisory mandate, noting that it will continue to monitor developments closely and implement any measures deemed necessary to ensure robust investor protection. All stakeholders have been advised to follow official channels from the CMA, ADX, and DFM for the latest updates.

In a parallel development, the Dubai Financial Services Authority—the independent regulator of financial services conducted in or from the Dubai International Financial Centre—has also confirmed the reopening of Nasdaq Dubai.

The international exchange, which facilitates the trading of equities, derivatives, sukuk, and conventional bonds for regional and global investors, will resume operations at 10.00 am GST on the same day.

The DFSA stated that it continues to closely monitor regional developments and remains in regular contact with local authorities and relevant advisories to ensure a stable and transparent trading environment.
