Dubai, UAE – Oct. 2026 – Participants at WETEX 2026 highlighted the exhibition’s role in supporting UAE companies, showcasing their innovative energy and sustainability solutions, and strengthening opportunities for business cooperation and market expansion.
Dalal Jassim Al Balushi, Senior Director of Strategy and Policy at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for SME Development, an institution of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, told the Emirates News Agency that the establishment supports Emirati entrepreneurs’ participation in specialised exhibitions by providing subsidised opportunities that ease financial burdens. This enables companies to present their products to government and private entities, investors and potential partners, she said.
She added that six UAE companies are taking part in the establishment’s pavilion at WETEX 2026, presenting solutions in solar energy, smart grids, energy storage, electric vehicle charging, water desalination and environmental technologies.
Al Balushi said the exhibition offers opportunities to strengthen commercial relationships and explore cooperation and expansion locally and regionally, stressing that the success of participation is measured by the lasting partnerships and growth opportunities companies achieve.
For his part, Mohammed Ahmed Balhoul, General Manager of Al Barmeel Energy, told WAM that the company, an authorised ENOC distributor since 2007, provides bulk diesel, lubricants, fuel management solutions and emergency delivery services to businesses across the UAE’s emirates.
He said its participation focuses on biodiesel, which helps companies cut emissions without changing their equipment, along with fuel management solutions that reduce waste and improve consumption efficiency.
Balhoul added that the company uses smart technologies to analyse customer consumption, anticipate their needs and plan delivery routes, saving time and costs while limiting emissions.
Adel Idris Al Awadhi, Chief Executive Officer of Corport Trade House, said the company is exhibiting portable power generation and storage devices that can be used in homes, camping, sporting events, defence, logistics, humanitarian aid and infrastructure projects.
He said the company also offers hybrid power systems combining solar energy, batteries and generators, allowing facilities in remote areas and construction sites to rely more heavily on solar power and cut diesel consumption by 60 percent to 80 percent.
Al Awadhi said these solutions help reduce environmental impact, adding that the company hopes to enter neighbouring markets, boost exports and explore renewable energy investment opportunities.
