New global logistics trade show to be held in Dubai in 2024
The new showcase will run alongside Automechanika Dubai 2024
Messe Frankfurt Middle East will organise a new global logistics trade show from December 10-12, 2024, at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) to capitalise on the UAE’s strategic geographic location as a prime global trade and commerce facilitator.
The three-day platform will highlight supply chain, transportation, mobility, warehousing and material handling globally, especially as logistics providers adapt to new challenges and opportunities to remain competitive, efficient and sustainable in a rapidly changing global economy.
The new show will also allow leading global and regional logistics players to meet and help shape the sector’s future, given the UAE’s strategic location bridging Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
Automechanika Dubai 2023
Messe Frankfurt Middle East, a subsidiary of Messe Frankfurt, one of the world’s largest trade fair and exhibition organisers, announced the new logistics show on the sidelines of Automechanika Dubai, held from October 2-4, 2023, at DWTC.
The new logistics experiential showcase will run parallel to Automechanika Dubai (December 12-14, 2024) to sync the automotive industry and as collaboration among logistics providers and shippers is growing, including sharing resources, optimising routes, and even collaborative warehousing.
At Automechanika Dubai 2023, a leadership panel discussion entitled ‘Pioneering the Future: Driving the MEA Transport and Logistics Sector Forward with Emerging Trends and Innovation in Logistics and Supply Chain’ examined challenges and opportunities within the regional logistics sector and highlighted the importance of a dedicated logistics show in filling the current gaps within the industry.
Ted Bloom, Managing Director, Messe Frankfurt Middle East, said: “We are acutely aware of the ever-evolving landscape of logistics as it adapts to lessons learned from the pandemic and strives for greater efficiency, resilience, and sustainability.
“The [new logistics] show will unite the leading minds, innovators and biggest sector operators in an exciting new forum to help shape the sector’s future.”
