Lotus Cars UAE opens order books for exclusive Emira Jim Clark Edition

Starting at AED532,000

Lotus Cars UAE has opened order books for the highly anticipated and strictly limited Lotus Emira Jim Clark Edition. A tribute to one of motorsport’s most legendary figures, this exclusive model celebrates Jim Clark’s extraordinary legacy. Only 60 units are available globally, including selected allocations in the UAE and Bahrain.

The Emira Jim Clark Edition is a collector’s dream, blending rich motorsport heritage with Lotus’s innovation and performance. Each unit will be individually numbered as a mark of prestige and rarity, cementing its value for car enthusiasts and collectors.

With production capped at 60 units worldwide, the Emira Jim Clark Edition is more than just a car—it celebrates motorsport’s past, present, and future. Its unique design, historic inspiration, and limited availability make it one of the most desirable special editions Lotus has ever produced.

Jim Clark is one of the most celebrated racing drivers in history. In 1965, he achieved an unmatched double victory by winning both the Formula 1 World Championship and the prestigious Indianapolis 500 in the same year.

His dominance continued with championships in Formula 2 and the Tasman Series across Australia and New Zealand and wins in touring car races driving the famed Lotus Cortina. These achievements inspired this meticulously crafted edition of the Lotus Emira.

The Emira Jim Clark Edition pays tribute through performance and a historical design. The car features a distinctive Clark Racing Green exterior, a black contrast roof, and a vibrant yellow racing stripe that wraps around the front, mirroring the iconic Lotus Type 38 Clark drove to victory at Indianapolis in 1965.

Other striking details include silver door mirrors, yellow exhaust tips, and a machined aluminium fuel filler cap with a blue anodised centre. A hand-painted yellow pinstripe accentuates the Emira’s swage line, while bespoke “Clark Edition” logos on the doors add a nostalgic nod to the racing livery used in Clark’s heyday.

Inside the cabin, the Emira Clark Edition offers a tactile reminder of motorsport’s golden era. The interior combines classic racing aesthetics with premium finishes. The most eye-catching detail is the asymmetrical seat trim – the driver’s seat is upholstered in red leather and Alcantara, echoing the design of Clark’s race cars, while the passenger seat is finished in black.

A sixties-style wooden gear knob and bespoke Jim Clark badging, including his signature tartan from Lochcarron, Scotland, bring a tailored touch to the cabin. The dashboard proudly bears Clark’s signature, and the headrests feature Team Lotus branding, further reinforcing the connection to Lotus’ rich heritage.

Every unit of the Emira Clark Edition will feature carbon fibre treadplates, individually numbered “1 of 60”, enhancing the feeling of exclusivity. Each customer will also receive a hand-crafted leather holdall, adorned with Clark Edition-specific design cues, providing a perfect finishing touch to this special edition package.

Under the bonnet, the Emira Clark Edition is based on the formidable Lotus Emira V6. At its heart is a 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine delivering 400 horsepower through a six-speed manual gearbox, paired with a limited-slip differential.

This setup ensures a pure, unfiltered driving experience, complemented by hydraulic steering that connects the driver directly to the road. The Lotus Driver’s Pack includes sports suspension, a Track Mode setting, and a tuned exhaust for added aural pleasure.

Karl Hamer, Chairman and CEO of Adamas Motor Group, expressed his excitement about the launch: “The new Emira Clark edition is a real homage to one of motorsport’s true icons. As an authorised Retail Partner of Lotus Cars in the UAE and Bahrain, we are extremely proud to offer this exclusive and highly collectable model to our discerning customers.”

Adamas Motor Group operates Lotus Cars UAE.

In the UAE, the Emira Clark Edition will be available starting at AED532,000, while customers in Bahrain can expect pricing to begin at BHD57,300.
