Dubai Civil Defence has launched a new corporate identity, marking a key step in its evolution and forward-looking vision. The refreshed visual system reinforces Dubai’s global standing in public safety and emergency preparedness, while reflecting the organisation’s enduring commitment to protecting the community.

The new identity carries the slogan “Protecting Lives and Property,” underscoring Dubai Civil Defence’s core mission and long-standing role in safeguarding people and assets across the emirate. It also aligns with the unified civil defence branding adopted at the national level.

The updated design introduces a contemporary colour palette, refined typography, and a redesigned logo rich in symbolism. A laurel wreath represents the nobility of the mission, stars symbolise the seven emirates and unity among civil defence commands, and the falcon reflects strength, vigilance, and UAE heritage. At the centre, a shield bearing the UAE flag conveys protection and security.

Gold has been adopted as the primary colour, harmonising with the UAE national emblem and complemented by the national flag colours. The falcon motif has been simplified, and visual elements modernised to ensure clarity and adaptability across digital platforms, in line with Dubai Government visual identity standards.

Major General Expert Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Civil Defence, said the new identity reflects the organisation’s unwavering commitment to protecting lives and property. He noted that it supports Dubai Civil Defence’s ambition to achieve global leadership in public safety while preserving its legacy and national heritage.

The initiative is also aimed at strengthening institutional presence and unifying visual communication, reinforcing Dubai Civil Defence’s position as a leading government entity driven by excellence and integration. The move aligns with Dubai’s broader strategic vision to be one of the safest and most secure cities in the world.
