Parkonic expands paid parking network with new rollout at The Ribbon Mall in Dubai Motor City

Parkonic has introduced paid parking at The Ribbon Mall in Al Hebiah First, Dubai Motor City, as part of its continued expansion across the emirate.

Visitors can park free of charge for the first two hours. After that, parking is priced at Dh10 per hour.

The new system at The Ribbon Mall operates through Parkonic’s app-based platform, enabling fully cashless payments in line with Dubai’s wider smart mobility and digital transformation goals.

More locations added across Dubai

The move follows recent activations at three Lulu Hypermarket branches in Rashidiya, Dubai Investment Park and Al Warqa, further extending Parkonic’s footprint in residential and retail areas.

In another update, VIP parking at City Walk Boulevard, covering Buildings 9 and 10, as well as 13 and 14, is now available strictly through advance booking. Motorists can reserve basement parking spaces for a selected duration via the Parkonic app.

Ticketless parking coming to Dubai Silicon Oasis

In Dubai Silicon Oasis, Parkonic is preparing to roll out a ticketless, barrier-free parking system integrated directly with Salik accounts for automatic billing.

The new model will not include physical parking meters, cash payment machines or QR codes. Instead, billing will be linked digitally to the vehicle’s licence plate.

Under the revised tariff structure:

  • Dh4 per hour from 8am to 4pm

  • Dh6 per hour from 4pm to 8pm

  • Dh4 per hour from 8pm to midnight

Charges apply from Monday to Saturday, while parking will remain free on Sundays and public holidays.

The tiered pricing model is designed to manage peak-hour demand and improve turnover in high-traffic zones.

Updated tariffs at DIFC

Last month, Parkonic also introduced revised parking tariffs at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

Visitors parking at Gate Avenue 1 and Gate Avenue 4 are entitled to one hour of free parking per day for a single trip. After the complimentary period, parking is charged at Dh10 per hour or part thereof, inclusive of VAT.

The latest rollouts highlight Parkonic’s growing role in managing smart parking infrastructure across Dubai, with a clear shift toward app-based access, automated billing and demand-driven pricing.
