Umm Al Emarat Park has launched a new season of community activities in Abu Dhabi, bringing together entertainment, culture, education, wellness and family-focused experiences alongside several new collaborations with local organisations.
The popular Cinema in the Park returns from 2 October 2026, with family-friendly films screening every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The Park Market will reopen on 23 October, operating every Friday and Saturday from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm throughout the season. The market will feature shopping, food and community experiences while giving SMEs and local businesses an opportunity to showcase their products. During October, the market will also focus on themes of kindness and giving.
Health and wellbeing will form an important part of the October programme. A public blood donation campaign, organised in partnership with SEHA and Al Rahba Hospital, will take place on 9 October from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
As part of Pinktober 2026, Burjeel Holdings will provide a mobile mammogram unit and free health screenings on 23 and 24 October, supporting efforts to raise awareness about breast cancer screening and preventive healthcare.
On 30 October, Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City will organise another community health event featuring a mammogram truck, walkathon, giveaways and health-related activities.
The park will also host a Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Pop-Up from 30 October to 1 November at Shade House Lawn. The three-day programme will spotlight Emirati artist Mohammed Kazem and his Directions series through talks, workshops and interactive activities.
Running daily from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, the programme will include discussions about Kazem’s artistic practice, a Place and Perception activity, a mapping workshop inspired by his use of geographical data, as well as a public quiz and giveaways.
Education will continue to play a central role in the park’s programme. During the 2026-27 academic season, Umm Al Emarat Park will welcome school groups through tailored educational activities covering nature, sustainability, Emirati heritage and the environment.
The park’s Animal Barn pop-up will also return, offering visitors opportunities to interact with and feed animals, along with pony and camel rides.
Meanwhile, BOUNCE returned to Umm Al Emarat Park on 1 October, bringing its freestyle entertainment experience back for another season.
