The UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism and the Emirates Council for Balanced Development have opened registration for “Nawat Al Qura,” a mobile business accelerator designed to support Emirati entrepreneurs and small enterprises in Emirates Villages.
The initiative is aimed at helping UAE nationals develop business ideas, test products and services in real market conditions, connect with customers and prepare practical plans for future growth.
The first cycle of the accelerator will be held in Al Rams, Ras Al Khaimah, where 12 projects will be supported over a 24-week programme. Additional cycles are expected to be launched in other Emirates Villages during later phases.
Registration is open to UAE nationals aged 18 and above, either as individuals or in teams of two.
The programme forms part of wider efforts to implement the National Strategy for Entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Enterprises in Emirates Villages, with a focus on supporting sustainable economic development and creating stronger opportunities for locally based businesses.
Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, said strengthening Emirati entrepreneurship remains an important part of the UAE’s economic diversification agenda.
He said the initiative supports the goals of the “We the UAE 2031” vision by helping national entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses and access wider opportunities in domestic and international markets.
Al Marri said the mobile accelerator will bring practical business support directly to local communities, enabling entrepreneurs to test products and services, understand customer demand and develop their businesses around available market opportunities.
Mohammed Khalifa Al Kaabi, Secretary-General of the Emirates Council for Balanced Development, said “Nawat Al Qura” reflects the UAE leadership’s commitment to strengthening Emirati participation in economic development.
He said the programme will provide entrepreneurs with the tools and opportunities needed to transform business ideas into sustainable enterprises that contribute to local economic diversification.
Participants will receive mentoring and practical training across areas including business fundamentals, finance, marketing, sales and growth strategy.
The programme will also provide support with product testing, pricing strategies and sales channels, while connecting participants with experts, suppliers, business partners and potential customers.
Each project will receive support based on its individual stage of development and business requirements.
Participants will also take part in practical market-testing activities, including customer interviews, pricing trials, test sales and supplier assessments. These exercises are designed to help entrepreneurs better understand market demand and refine their products, services and business plans.
The Ministry of Economy and Tourism and the Emirates Council for Balanced Development have encouraged eligible applicants to review the programme requirements and submit their applications by 30 October 2026 through the official Nawat Al Qura platform.
