Salesforce enhances its GCC region presence

Opens an office in Dubai

Salesforce is rapidly expanding its presence in the Middle East, where the AI customer relationship management (CRM) market is on track to generate $2.6 billion in revenue by 2024. Also, 69% of businesses in the UAE leverage AI to enhance customer relationships and drive growth, indicating a seismic shift towards digital transformation.

Against this backdrop, Salesforce is stepping up its presence in the UAE by opening a new office in Dubai Internet City (DIC) to support AI innovation, enhance customer success, and foster regional growth.

The company’s new office in DIC was preceded by the launch of Hyperforce, its trusted cloud platform, in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The new facility features an experience centre, enabling Salesforce to showcase its latest AI technology innovations.

The inauguration ceremony of the new office on October 3, 2024, was graced by Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for AI, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications; Malek Al Malek, Chairman of Tecom Group; Abdulla Belhoul, CEO of Tecom Group, and various other representatives.

Srini Tallapragada, Salesforce’s President and Chief Engineering Officer, said he was thrilled to introduce Salesforce’s latest transformative AI-driven solutions to the UAE. “Our platform, with Data Cloud at its centre, enables all Salesforce applications to deliver seamless, AI-powered experiences,” he added.

Thierry Nicault, Area Vice President and General Manager for Salesforce Middle East echoed this sentiment, emphasising the importance of AI innovations for the public and private sectors in the UAE.

Tableau Einstein Alliance

Salesforce has also unveiled the Tableau Einstein Alliance, a new partner community aimed at developing AI solutions and analytical agents for Tableau Einstein, which operates on the Salesforce platform and integrates with the company’s Agentforce solution.

Tableau Einstein Alliance provides Salesforce’s partners access to product roadmaps, in-house experts, marketing support, and co-selling opportunities. Members can leverage the Alliance to create the agents, applications, and AI solutions necessary for customers to thrive in the evolving landscape of autonomous AI, ensuring they derive quick value from their data investments.

The Alliance is set to launch in February 2025 with 25 founding members, such as Atrium, Capgemini, Deloitte, IBM, and Slalom. Solutions developed through this collaboration will be available on the Salesforce AppExchange and the new Tableau Marketplace, allowing developers to create, share, and monetise their applications and analytical tools.
