Bitcoin wallet on the Moon transferred to Women in Bitcoin Initiative

At Bitcoin 2025 in Las Vegas

A Bitcoin wallet currently located on the lunar surface was formally transferred to the Women In Bitcoin Initiative during the Bitcoin 2025 conference held in Las Vegas last month. The transfer took place during the Unstoppable Women of Web3 and AI VIP Lunch, hosted alongside the Litecoin Summit.

The wallet, delivered to the lunar surface on March 2, 2025, as part of Copernic Space’s Moon Mission I, was funded by space advocate Eva Blaisdell, known as Lady Rocket, and the Lady Rocket Foundation. It includes full private key access and will be authenticated and tokenised under Copernic Space’s Real World Space Asset (RWSA) framework, creating a verifiable digital asset on the blockchain.

The new lunar Bitcoin asset is now in the custody of the Women In Bitcoin Initiative, a programme powered by the Unstoppable Future Corporation (UFC), a nonprofit dedicated to social innovation. The wallet will support female-led projects in the fields of Bitcoin, artificial intelligence and space exploration.

Eva Blaisdell, Co-founder of Copernic Space and Founder of the Lady Rocket Foundation, said the initiative was born from the momentum generated by her engagement with female leaders at the Bitcoin Conference. “Spending time with the incredible women at The Bitcoin Conference—many of whom know me from my mission to open space to women—was deeply inspiring,” she said.

Citing her conversations with Sandy Carter of Unstoppable Women in Web3 and AI, Kelly Ann Collins of Unstoppable Future, and Astrid Pilla of Club Miku, Blaisdell said she felt a sense of duty to contribute her lunar Bitcoin wallet. “Through the Lady Rocket Foundation and Copernic Space, I’m advancing Bitcoin’s role in the space economy and creating a platform for women to lead in this new frontier,” she added.

Copernic Space, co-founded by Blaisdell and Grant Blaisdell, the CEO, has consistently worked with women across Web3, including artists, AI innovators, and investors. The platform’s objective is to democratise access to space by tokenising real-world space assets and creating new investment opportunities via blockchain.

Blaisdell said they are extending invitations to The Bitcoin Conference and David Sacks, Chair of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, to join the initiative as it develops into a scalable, inclusive platform for women in emerging technologies.

Kelly Ann Collins, Executive Director of the Unstoppable Future Corporation and Co-founder of Women In Bitcoin, underscored the symbolic and strategic impact of the handover. “Receiving the keys to a Bitcoin wallet on the actual Moon is so much bigger than symbolism,” she said. “It’s a declaration that women belong in every space, including outer space.”

Astrid Pilla, Co-founder of Women in Bitcoin and Founder of Club Miku, further highlighted the moment’s significance. “Satoshia’s debut at Bitcoin 2025 and this lunar activation send a clear message: women belong in tech, finance, and now, space,” she said.

Satoshia, an open-source ElizaOS-based AI Bitcoin educator developed by Pilla, is the first AI agent to exist on the Moon and carries a Web3 wallet via Unstoppable Domains.

The lunar wallet will serve as a fund for initiatives, including Bitcoin education programmes and female-led AI startups such as Club Miku, which develops autonomous AI agents for global brands. UFC’s Women In Bitcoin Initiative, which brought over 100 women to Bitcoin 2025 in one of the largest female delegations in the industry’s history, will administer the wallet and oversee project funding.

“This Moon wallet activation is a breakthrough for inclusive innovation,” said Pilla. “Not only are women welcome in finance and tech, but they’re now being handed the keys to the stars.”

Grant Blaisdell, CEO of Copernic Space, said the transfer exemplifies the company’s mission to open up access to the space economy. “By tokenising real-world space assets, we empower communities to engage with, invest in, and benefit from space exploration,” he said.

Copernic Space operates a Web3 platform that enables individuals and organisations to own, trade and invest in real-world space assets. These include lunar payloads, satellite data, and stakes in space missions, all of which are secured and verified via blockchain technology.

The Lady Rocket Foundation, established in 2017, focuses on blending art, fashion and science to broaden public engagement with the space industry. Under Blaisdell’s leadership, the foundation has promoted diversity and inclusion in space exploration and technology through various global initiatives.

Unstoppable Future Corporation (UFC), a nonprofit public charity, supports socially driven innovation. Its Women In Bitcoin initiative provides education, mentorship and community-building resources for women in Bitcoin, blockchain and AI.

The transfer of the Moon-based Bitcoin wallet is being hailed as a decisive step forward for space-based cryptocurrency and a call to action for greater inclusion in future-shaping industries.
