The Saudi Minister Of Sports Hosts International Football Officials At Saudi House In Doha

Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Sport, hosted a number of international football sports federations and Qatari officials at the Saudi House zone on Friday. The Saudi Football Federation established the area in the Doha Corniche in preparation for the FIFA World Cup, which was held in Qatar.

Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, the President of the Asian Football Confederation, Sheikh Joa’an bin Hamad Al-Thani, the President of the Qatar Olympic Committee; Qatar’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Salah bin Ghanem Al-Ali, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, UEFA President Aleksandr Ceferin, and a number of other international sports leaders were at the dinner party at the Saudi House Zone. They lauded the activities that enriched the experience of fans of various countries.

In addition, Amir Abdul Aziz complimented the Qatar Ministry of Sports and its personnel for their efforts to improve the experience of international football fans. The guests were given a tour of the zone and informed of the over twenty-one activities it offers over ten pavilions. The Saudi House provides supporters with an integrated cultural, social, touristic, and entertainment experience, highlighting the culture, heritage, and football enthusiasm of the Saudis. 

The Saudi House Zone

With the opening of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Saudi Arabia opened a special pavilion to showcase the country’s rich culture and football history. The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) and the Saudi Ministry of Sport hosted an event at the Saudi House to honour the Kingdom’s long history of welcoming foreign guests and its undying love of soccer.

Over the course of the month-long FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the venue welcomed people from 12 pm to 12 am every day. Its size is equivalent to more than two football pitches (18,000 square meters). Live music by notable local artists, a lineup of street shows, and innovative immersive experiences made this an event that fans of all ages and backgrounds will remember for a long time to come.

There are 21 events planned for the pavilion, which are held in ten different areas. The Green Pulse takes viewers on a trip through the history of football in Saudi Arabia. It shows the best goals, players, and games in the country’s long history. Also, in the “Cooking” section, people from all over the world will be able to satisfy their appetites with Saudi dishes. At the Cultural Zone, people can watch traditional performances from five different parts of Saudi Arabia, all of which has their own culture and folklore.
