Dubai, UAE — December 2025 —The UAE Pavilion, supported by the Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement and the UAE Ministry of Defence and organised by the ADNEC Group, is set to open today at the Egypt Defence Expo 2025.

According to the Emirates News Agency, the fourth edition of EDEX, held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi of Egypt from 1–4 December 2025, provides a platform for UAE national companies to strengthen international ties, expand market reach, and form strategic partnerships at one of the largest defence events in the Middle East and North Africa.

The Pavilion features a strong showcase from seven national companies presenting the latest defence and security solutions to an international audience of industry leaders, decision makers, and military personnel.

Leading entities present include the Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement, EDGE Group, Calidus, GAL, AMMROC, Al Jundi Magazine, and ADNEC Group.

The Tawazun Council plays a central role in the UAE’s defence sector by strategically aligning procurement with long-term national capability requirements, adhering to value-for-money principles, and advancing industrial localisation. It fosters a resilient defence-industrial base through domestic manufacturing, attracting foreign investment, and integrating UAE entities into global supply chains.

The Council shapes the regulatory environment with sector-specific licensing, standards, and compliance systems, oversees specialised industrial zones, and activates the national research, development, and innovation ecosystem for dual-use technology collaboration.

Participating companies will display their latest innovations and network with global audiences. EDGE Group will exhibit solutions across Precision Guided Munitions, Naval Platforms, Autonomous Air Platforms, Weapons & Munitions, and Secure Communications.

Calidus Holding Group will showcase a fully Emirati-designed and manufactured portfolio across its Aerospace, Land Systems, and Missiles and Defence Systems clusters, featuring highlights like the MATV armoured combat support vehicle with the AlHeda missile launch platform.

Concurrently, ADNEC Group aims to strengthen international ties by promoting upcoming major defence events, including the Unmanned Systems Exhibitions and Conference & Simulation and Training Exhibition, the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience, and the 2027 edition of the International Defence Exhibition and Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition.

The UAE Pavilion at EDEX 2025 is designed to spotlight technological innovation and collaborative advancement. Within the stands, leading engineers, salespeople, and senior leadership will offer unique insights into the defence solutions on display, their capabilities, and the strategic thinking behind their development.

Visitors can interact directly with experts to discuss technical specifications, real-world applications, and operational advantages. Serving as a hub for engagement and knowledge sharing, the Pavilion aims to cultivate new opportunities in the global defence landscape.

Military personnel, decision makers, and delegations are invited to explore the UAE Pavilion, located in Hall 3 of the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in Cairo, to view the latest products and services, connect with defence and security professionals, and discuss collaborative opportunities to enhance the defence industry.
