Saudi Arabia closes October sukuk issuance with $1.8bn allocated

Dubai, UAE – Oct. 2026 – Saudi Arabia’s National Debt Management Center closed its October 2026 riyal sukuk issuance with SAR6.74 billion ($1.79 billion) allocated across four tranches maturing between 2031 and 2039.

The allocation is more than four times the SAR1.64 billion allocated in September, when the center issued across six tranches under the same government program.

The October issuance was divided into four tranches. The first, worth SAR265 million, matures in 2031. The second, at SAR2.73 billion, matures in 2033.

The third and largest tranche, at SAR3.44 billion, matures in 2036 and accounts for about 51 percent of the total. The fourth, worth SAR302 million, matures in 2039.

September’s issuance was spread across six tranches with maturities from 2029 to 2041. Its largest portion was SAR705 million maturing in 2041, about 43 percent of that month’s SAR1.64 billion total.

October’s offering was more concentrated. It carried no maturities before 2031 or after 2039, and the bulk of the funds, about 91 percent, went to the 2033 and 2036 tranches combined.

September’s tranches were SAR205 million maturing in 2029, SAR650 million in 2031, SAR50 million in 2033, SAR25 million in 2036, SAR5 million in 2039 and SAR705 million in 2041.
